Cultural manager, curator, educator and researcher in the field of museums, contemporary art and culture. She has been in the cultural area since 2002 as educator, museum mediator, artist, teacher, talk presenter, and researcher for many institutions.  Having been part of the team that started the programs at Institute Inhotim. She was an educational consultant at the 32nd Bienal of São Paulo, Incerteza Viva. Maria Eugênia has also received awards such as the Rumos Itaú Cultural award: Education, Culture and Art 2008 – 2010.
